Just who is Shinobu-chan? Beats me. All I know is that she is not the everybody’s type of girl, and that was what caught my eyes. There is this special milestone edition, but I find the colour too dull for my liking. So let’s start, shall we?

I shall start off with some all angle shots of Shinobu-chan. As you can see, she does wears a skirt, but it is super short. And thus, no matter how you look at her, the pantsu shall be there. Kinda make people ask: Why wear the skirt? And Shinobu-chan is actually pretty moe, ain’t she?

In terms of quality, on most parts it’s ok. Just that on the leg part, the tone is not smooth and there’s some rough areas. There’s also some slight rough parts on the hair but not so visible. The face sculpt, after comparing with the illustration on the box, is only about 65-70% similar. But still, I would call this Shinobu-chan figure as moe.

The base feels ok. It doesn’t give me that super cheap feel like those MegaHouse figures. But I do find the pegs are not that tightly fitted into the holes on her leg.

From this photo, you would have known that her nipple is actually partially exposed even though she is wearing clothes. You just need to peek really carefully. At the time of photo-shooting, I was not really able to cast her off. But after that, I actually found the instruction guide for cast off in the box (pretty well hidden), but it was already too late since I had kept her in the cabinet. -.-” The sword is pretty standard and nothing to talk about.

Another of Shunya’s girls that get the limelight. Kanaru is so pretty and so sexy! Her pose is quite seductive to be honest. So are her eyes. As with other Art of Shunya Yamashita series figures, all of them have got out-of-this-world costumes. There is only one thing that I don’t understand about them: How come Shunya’s girls always get to have pantsu that defies gravity? XD She will be out in October 2008 at 7429 yen.

Verdict: Sure get. (If I can get positive feedbacks for Art Storm)

Another of those Dead or Alive figure from Kotobukiya. I shall summaries Kokoro in one word: HOT! She is just the type of figures I want. Pretty and sexy. The hair is very nice. Even the base is realistically done too. If there’s anything, it would be her blouse, which seems too large for comfort when it’s put on her. I wonder the umbrella which can be seen in the fifth promotional photo is bundled together ^^. She shall be out in November 2008 at ¥8800.

Verdict: Too hot to pass!

A hottie! Just look at how moe she is, with an extremely seductive pose. Super short skirt and blouse and fish net, wow! There will be two version, a normal and a special edition (purple hair and black shoes). I would love to get her. But I am afraid the almost exposed front parts may get me into trouble with my local customs. Both of them will be out in mid July for 6800 yen.

This is one of those not-so-common figure with a not-so-common-and-exceptionally-long name. This figure depicts Nekomiya Nono while she is having a long bath. Not for everybody since she is practically naked. She does comes with a variety of bathroom accessories, such as shampoo, floating duck, etc. The environment in the bathroom is quite well made IMO. And Nekomiya Nono does look cute.

This figure’s total height will be around 11cm and she will retail at 6477 yen in September 2008

First impression: so red! Except her body, all her dress, including her hat is in red! And I must say her dress is amazing! With a great mixture of semi-transparent material. It really gives those fabric feel. Can’t say much about her face though. There is this sense of evil in her that I don’t like. As quoted from Hobby Search: “You cannot help staring at her thighs shown under the transparent skirt, her sexy pose and expression” ^^

She will stand at 14cm tall and retails at 7429 yen in July 2008.

Oh my! The figure that we have seen, heard, anticipated and so eagerly awaited (for me at least) from WF2008 is now available for pre-order! This is not quite the figure for everyone since it involves adult and erotic elements. Heck HobbySearch labeled it not for those under 18.

The chair looks detailed though. She seems to come with removable clothes (not to mention SM stuffs). Total height shall be around 21cm and the listing price is 9333yen.

This is the first time I have seen this character. After some googling, she’s from a game I presume? My first impression is: she’s sexy! The colour seems a bit dull though. You do get this feeling of gloominess. For the face, Lily here looks wicked! Also, can one’s hair swirl up and down at the same time like hers? Anyway, she will be priced at 6800yen (~USD$64)

One thing that bothers me: (more to the character design than the figure) Her bra seems to be upside down? And something is unnaturally large

Yes, you’re right. It’s yet another Kanu figure. This time it’s from Kurushima, in cold cast form. This Kanu comes in very battle-torn outfit with only a half of her school uniform top and a panty with lots of holes. -.-” Except for the face, I should say she is quite well made. I like her body curves the most, especially the waist. The face leaves much to ponder whether sculptors nowadays are able to capture the true facial look of the characters. This one seems very “off” indeed.

This figure is 1/6 scale and so she stands at 26cm. She will have a whopping 20k yen price tag due to the material used.

I saw some photo of this figure last year. And feel that she is quite unique. I like her face the most. It’s just my type. And those figures featuring a hot girl lying there looking at you. I don’t know. It just gives a different perspective from those normal ones. (If ya know what I mean ^^)

Some will say she is quite pricey (6800yen) considering she is 1/10 scale. But never-the-less, if she turns out as in the promo photos, I will be satisfied. Pre-ordered!
