Saw this Nendoroid Petit series over at Good Smile Company’s official blog. From what I can make out of it (since the original article in Japanese), it shall be limited to 5000 units and sold at 3000yen at specific stores only. It will consist of 5 characters in swimsuit and float, namely, Suzumiya Haruhi, Nagato Yuki, Asahina Mikuru, Asakura Ryouko and Tsuruya. Looks nice right? ^^

This is by far the best 1/4 Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi figure from FREEing in my opinion. The other ones doesn’t really stand out as much as this one. (Although Tsuruya Bunny Version from FREEing does look extremely striking as well). Just look at her costume, her fish net, her moe-ness, her smile and of course, her size! (She is 1/4 scaled! So she will have a height of 25cm even when sitting!) She will be out in August 2008 at a retail price of 11238 yen (~USD 107). If only she can be priced at half of that

The final installment of my Max Factory Suzumiya Haruhi figures before I move on to cover other figures (Edit: well, maybe not so final anymore after the new MF Mikuru is opened for pre-order -.-”). This time it’s Tsuruya-san, in the waitress dress during the anime’s annual school festival. This post was delayed quite a bit.
So let’s get her over with and then the next figure to feature shall be.. hint.. hint.. a Kimono girl! ^^
Ground breaking news indeed. And it ends all speculation. The pre-order for Max Factory’s next Asahina Mikuru figure is finally up! From what we have seen before, she will feature in the waitress dress from the School Festival event, same as Tsuruya-san. And wow.. did she took my breathe away. Mikuru looks so moe!
Sigh, it looks like Max Factory did not answer to my prayer: “Do not release any more Haruhi figures, or I shall go broke!” I strongly suggest interested people (me too!) to pre-order her fast as I believe she will sell like hot cakes
