Shining Wind’s official figure blog brings to us the prototype uncoloured version of the upcoming Ryuna figure from Kotobukiya. I will prefer to look at the final coloured version before making any judgements. ^^

Another of those Dead or Alive figure from Kotobukiya. I shall summaries Kokoro in one word: HOT! She is just the type of figures I want. Pretty and sexy. The hair is very nice. Even the base is realistically done too. If there’s anything, it would be her blouse, which seems too large for comfort when it’s put on her. I wonder the umbrella which can be seen in the fifth promotional photo is bundled together ^^. She shall be out in November 2008 at ¥8800.
Verdict: Too hot to pass!

Ayanami Rei is still going strong after all this years. So is Evangelion. The latest in Kotobukiya Evangelion series is Rei is Gothic Lolita costume. In case you don’t know, there was a Gothic Lolita Langley Asuka by Kotobukiya too. I dislike Rei’s face sculpt in this figure. Doesn’t look realistic at all. She will be out in October 2008 at 6800 yen.
VERDICT: PASSED!

There are news and a prototype photo (just a back shot teaser) out in Shining Series Figure Blog on a possible Ryuna figure by Kotobukiya. From the website also, Ryuna seems to be the 9th of a 12-figure list. More Shining Wind figures coming?
