Preview: Voltron Lion Force Gift Set
Otaku Figures May 10th, 2008A little filler while I am preparing my next figure review.
Voltron, defender of the universe! is back! I am sure hardcore mecha collectors will remember the die-cast masterpiece version of Voltron which was long sold out and limited rare item. The plastic version shall make its way to us again this coming July 2008 to all those who missed it. This Voltron Lion gift set will have the same features as the masterpiece (minus the die cast of course). The photo shows the completed robot, which can be separated into five individual lions. Definitely one to look out for.
Go Voltron Force!
Verdict: PRE-ORDERED!
Disclaimer: This figure has not been released, nor do I own it.

I was always a bigger fan of Dairugger XV or vehicle voltron.
but I always wondered what would happen if just 1 of the 15 pilots were injured or ill…

if not mistaken, I do think there’s a vehicle voltron toy out there.. but not sure.. haha.. as in the anime, too many pilots can be a problem. but even though one of them got injured, they can still form voltron. (In one episode, they formed Voltron without the right leg. lol)

I used to have a die-cast Voltron (along with a die-cast Optimus Prime and Voltes V) but my mom gave it away because I’m “a girl and shouldn’t be playing with boys’ toys”.
Ahhh~ Brings back my childhood memories. Too bad it’s plastic now.

masterpiece one is rare, so you will tend to keep it for display XD
wow! if you keep it.. I think can fetch a very good price now! XD but plastic version also not bad. At least it’s much cheaper, and you wont hesitate to play with it
