Preview: Sennin Haruka
Otaku Figures April 22nd, 2008Ok now for the fun part. In my previous post, we have Takamori Haruka from Alter. In this post we have Sennin Haruka from Kotobukiya. Even though they share different name, they are actually the same character! With the very same pose! I have no idea what these two companies are trying to achieve. Releasing same posed figures at almost the same time. Killing off each other maybe? But I tend to like Alter’s ver better. This Haruka looks a little too pale. And of course, Alter has got the better reputation for quality. She shall hit the streets in July 2008 at 5800 yen.
Verdict: NOT MINE!

Cant really blame Koto as they had previously released Narika, and is quite obvious they will continue with Haruka. Koto’s Narika looks nice but their Haruka is the fail.

I was quite confused at first when I saw this too. For sure, Alter’s version seems way better. But alas, it doesn’t look like I’ll be buying either of them… no money…

@misakichii: ya.. hehe.. so far.. Koto’s Narika looks nice.. but I don’t like it that they have to come up with two separate figures.. (one damage and one non-damage?) They might as well offer changeable parts like what other makers are doing.. Not that I against them but seeing how Narika is, I have a hitch that Alter might come up with their own Narika and be even better! XD XP
