Mospeada Ride Armour
Otaku Figures April 16th, 2008Mospeada was one of the first anime that I have ever watched. I was a huge fan of it since they have transformers type mechas. As with Macross, their plane->gerwalk->battroid mechas are my personal favourite. Recently, there are quite a few new mechas that came out based on Mospeada, from the Legioss (valkyries if you want) and Ride Armours (motorbikes that transforms and attach to the rider, forming the armour for the rider). For the Ride Armours, there are two variants, from different makers (MegaHouse and CM). Below are the video reviews for both of them by CollectionDX.
First impression: Both have fairly complicated transformations. And the small size makes it much more difficult since there are parts that need to be taken out. CM’s looks as though it can’t really stand up right. MegaHouse’s bike seems more detailed too.

When I was a kid, I have always wanted those Mospeada figures collection. Now that its here, I’m thinking twice if I should get or not due to some minor setbacks on the figure itself.
My first impression, when I first saw Megahouse released Scott Bernard, the guy with the blue hair, when he is in his armour suit, his neck looks a little bit too long in the picture. So I was not so confident with the product. Need to have a look at the real item rather than just the pictures and all that.

@ngumbang: perhaps that is some design issues? but so far never really see any real close up reviews for this figure yet.. don’t know our local toy shops carry them or not.. have a real look first? btw, I am more interested in the Legioss than the ride armour.. XD
@valho: too many steps to get the transformation.. If I ever get this.. one transform and that’s it.. My clumsy hands might break something.. haha..
