Legioss & Tread
Otaku Figures April 16th, 2008The follow up from my previous post, this time it’s the review for Legioss & Tread by CM, also done by CollectionDX. Legioss & Thread is by far the most awesome mecha for me in the Macross/Robotech universe. (Ya ya, I know Mospeada is not in the Macross universe). Two mechas can combine into one! This Legioss is piloted by Scott, as in the anime. The standalone Legioss is available too (Without Tread and by Aoshima). But why get one when you can have both? ^^
Edit: There’s supposed to be three part for the video review. Added the other two.
Part 1:
Part 2:
Part 3:

I can’t say I’m a fan of the Legioss toy. My local manga shop has had a few on sale for a while and they looked flimsy.
Maybe I’ve just been spoiled by the Yamato offerings for the macross Valkyries but the Legioss just simply doesn’t compare.

My first impression on the Legioss. Nicely done, well painted and its very very detailed in terms of its design and all those. Looks worth for the cash. Sadly, right now I’m concentrating on other items first…TT…

@Jeroprime: Welcome and thanks! my collection small small only haha.. eager to find out where this MJC toy shop is.. finally a real place for Kuchingite toys collectors to loiter! XD
btw, our nick and mine.. got similarity.. XD
@otaku dan: ya.. really cool! XD
@gundamjehutykai: the Yamato Macross series is famous for their detail and perfect transformation. I won’t compare them because I think they belong to different class? As for this one.. well.. it’s too expensive for a toy.. IMHO
@Rin: ya.. only for hardcore fans.. XD seriously..the toy is great.. but not really affordable
@gordon: and keeps mentioning USD300? XD
@ngumbang: ya.. there isn’t much legioss toys around (I still remember last time there is this transformable model kit. But didn’t get them. Re-issued recently) and this one is the best! just the price only.. if I got so much money.. rather buy 2 sets of Yamato Macross XD
