Happy New Year!

It has been a good year for me in the figures arena.. started this hobby somewhere in mid 2007.. (actually already started to collect figures since 2000.. but that time don’t have any credit card.. and figures are no where to be found in Kuching.. so was rather inactive).. My very first figure is actually a Macross model kit.. haha.. still remember that time I bought paints and glues all the way from Japan just for completing my model kit.. -.-”) was already a Macross fan since eons ago.. lol.. bought my bootleg Macross DVD while studying in University.. (no money to buy originals that time)

The figure collection hobby for 2007 has been quite a fun thing.. The one thing giving me the more unforgettable experience is how the Shuraki series was snapped up half an hour after it’s preorders opened up.. and how it was supposed to be limited to 5000 units worldwide and how I was searching up and down for stocks online and how later the re-issues was announced.. it was truly remarkable.. (and frustrating haha..) other than that.. it’s pretty much the norm.. pre-orders up, snapped it, figures arrive and displayed.. I did get a few very good figures though: Kureha, Aegis, Shii-chan, Mirei-san, Cocona, etc..

Up till today.. my collection is still pretty much small.. but I love each and every one in it.. and they have become part of my life.. (Otaku) it has grown beyond what I could have thought off.. I bought two cabinets which was initially strictly meant for books.. but then.. as the figures came in, one of it is now entirely for figures.. and space is running out! what a hobby! and it’s fun to actually find ways to increase the space in the existing cabinet to make more room.. kind of make me use my brain too.. lol.. and the end result? Something like this: Click me!

Lastly, thanks for reading my tales of 2007.. and Prim3 would like to wish everyone a

Happy New Year 2008!

May the new year brings good fortune to us all!

And of course, more figures! (+DVDs +Merchandises +Anything otaku)
